Taught Masters Thesis/Dissertation Group

This group is aimed at taught masters’ students who are completing a thesis, dissertation, or master’s project. Themes covered include developing a thesis question, literature reviews, exploring theoretical frameworks and methodologies, analysing and discussing results, establishing a writing routine, and structuring and writing the thesis.

When: Weekly from Thurs 7th May 2026, until 13th Aug 2026, 11.00 - 12.00.

Where: This will be a hybrid event:

In-person will be held in the Group Therapy Room, 3rd floor 7-9 South Leinster St. (opposite Insomnia Café).
Online will be run via MsTeams.

Who: Any postgraduate taught student completing their research project, dissertation or thesis.

What to expect: A friendly atmosphere where you get time to work on specific and relevant elements of your thesis.

Format:

This will be a semi-structured group, which means that in addition to focusing on specific themes, the facilitator(s) can also respond to specific requests of the group as term progresses.
